The Unwritten Girl

I’m writing this from Lincoln, Nebraska. No, this isn’t a book-related tour, but a family-related trip. Things will likely be quiet on the promotions front for The Unwritten Girl until the early fall, although we may get a few more print reviews in the meantime. For example, here’s a delightful review by 13-year-old Whitney at KidsWWrite. For all the reviews I’ve received (and here’s another one), it’s still extra gratifying to receive such an enthusiastic response from a reader in my target audience.

So, what am I doing on my summer holiday, besides travelling? Well, I’m working on what I hope will be the sequel to The Unwritten Girl, tentatively titled Fathom Five. Now, I can’t promise anything, and I won’t, but I’ve posted two sections of a draft chapter on my personal blog here and here. Enjoy!
